Setting Up Your First Delivery

Learn how to create your first delivery in wallmarkets.

Prerequisites

Before creating a delivery, make sure you have: - ✅ At least one product in your inventory - ✅ At least one supermarket/location set up - ✅ Verified your account

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to Deliveries

• From your dashboard, click "Deliveries" in the sidebar
• Click the "New Delivery" button (top right)

2. Select Supermarket/Location

Choose the destination for this delivery:
- Supermarket name
- Address
- Subchain (if applicable)

3. Add Products

• Click "Add Product"
• Select product from dropdown
• Enter quantity
• Click "Add" to add more products

Pro Tip: You can add multiple products to one delivery!

4. Set Delivery Date

• Choose delivery date from calendar
• Delivery dates must be in the future
• Consider your preparation time

5. Add Notes (Optional)

• Special instructions
• Contact person
• Delivery time preferences
• Loading dock information

6. Review and Create

Double-check: - ✅ Correct supermarket - ✅ All products and quantities - ✅ Delivery date - ✅ Special instructions

Click "Create Delivery" to finalize!

After Creating

Once created, you can: - Track Status: Monitor delivery progress - Print Receipt: Generate PDF for records - Edit Details: Update before delivery date - Cancel: If needed (before delivery)

Delivery Status Flow

Created → Pending → In Transit → Delivered

• Created: Just created, pending preparation
• Pending: Being prepared for shipment
• In Transit: On the way to destination
• Delivered: Successfully delivered

Common Mistakes to Avoid

❌ Wrong Quantity: Double-check numbers ❌ Past Date: Delivery date must be future ❌ No Products: Must have at least one product ❌ Wrong Location: Verify supermarket address

1. Plan Ahead: Create deliveries 2-3 days in advance
2. Batch Similar Orders: Group nearby locations
3. Track Inventory: Ensure stock availability
4. Add Notes: Include all special requirements
5. Confirm Delivery: Update status when completed
